Grant Opportunities

All the municipalities in Renfrew County are designated as UNDERSERIVICED for Family Physicians by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. (details can be found at www.health.gov.on.ca

We do not advertise incentives from our committee, that is negotiated with the physician and the contract is tailored to those needs. This is on top of the provincial incentive money that is laid out by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care – incentive grants are listed below for our municipalities. The grant money is based on the Rurality Index of Ontario (RIO) score of each individual municipality and the incentive value is over a four year period.
